“It’s unusual to work with a team who take the time to listen so deeply” Liz Ware – Project Founder
A new brand and website designed and built for Silent Space, a start-up initiative social focused on delivering personal peace and wellbeing.
Our charge was to deliver a gentle brand together with a responsive content managed website for this wonderful project.
The project was conceived by Liz Ware, a journalist, photographer with experience in writing about gardens – an ideal client for both our studio’s ethos as a design skills.
Through a non-profit making scheme that develops quiet spaces in national gardens, the project encourages individuals to experience a sense of respite in our increasingly hectic world through .
We developed the gentle feel of the site through the use of colour, type and illustration; figuring out an architecture that is both easy to navigate and in the future, expandable through the simple facility of a garden search, by county.
The client/studio experience was one of great trust and happy creativity and the inspirational, creative and academic content a pleasure to see being developed on the live site.
“It’s unusual to work with a team who take the time to listen so deeply. Having tuned into what a project or business is about, they really are in a position to help. A website that promotes silent visiting in gardens can’t have been the easiest of briefs but comments about the end product have been amazing. The most common response? ‘I feel peaceful just looking at it’. And that’s exactly what I wanted”. Liz Ware – Project Founder
